Last week, the group Stop Antisemitism and others posted this disturbing video of an unhinged woman verbally and physically assaulting some visibly Jewish men:
The woman was quickly identified, and I planned on writing an entire post focusing on her antisemitism, as well as her hypocrisy; she once worked at Victoria’s Secret, and was also wearing that “Pink” top from the same company, which is on every Israel-hater’s “no-buy” list!
But while digging deeper into her social media activity, I learned she is probably mentally il. Like really mentally ill, beyond the usual craziness one could attribute to a Jew-hater. So I jettisoned my original post; this woman needs psychiatric care more than anything.
But my reason for even bringing any of this up is something else.
You see, one of the things others discovered about her was she had a senior role with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR):
CAIR claim their vision is to be a “leading advocate for justice and mutual understanding” and “to enhance understanding of Islam, protect civil rights, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.”
Given that CAIR (pretend to) condemn antisemitism, you might have thought they would react to Shalash’s behavior with an unequivocal condemnation of her antisemitism.
Alas, they couldn’t do that, instead engaging in “both-sidesing” while attacking those who pointed out her CAIR connection:
I doubt their claim she has not worked for CAIR in five years, given the CAIR tweet showing her is from little over four years ago. But my main point here is to show just how vile CAIR is.
Mind you, they haven’t condemned even worse things from other active CAIR officials.
Meanwhile, I am still really looking forward to discovering their donors after they reveal their funding sources per the recent-ish court order.
To borrow from one of the deranged antisemitic woman’s favorite words, I suspect Karma is going to be real “b*tch” for them.
