Just when I thought things could hardly get worse with antisemitism in Australia, they get worse.
An Israeli TikToker called Max Veifer was randomly connected with two nursing staff at Sydney’s Bankstown Hospital on a video chat platform. The conversation that ensued was chilling.
The video went viral, and was brought to the attention of police, who acted quickly:
The two vile nurses have been identified as Ahmad “Rashad” Nadir and Sarah Abu Lebdeh.
Nadir is a refugee who fled Afghanistan and has repaid Australia for taking him in with this vile behavior:
Nadir previously fled from Afghanistan to Australia with his family as a teenager and worked one day a week at Observatory Tower Medical Centre in Sydney’s CBD and Bankstown Hospital.
According to social media, he became an Australian citizen four years ago.
Kind of like too many other Muslim refugees to Australia we have seen.
Nadir was mentioned in the media before, albeit for entirely different reasons:
Before becoming a nurse, Nadir participated in the Chester Hill Helmsman Project, a not-for-profit organisation that runs coaching programs for young people to build life skills.
“Before the Helmsman Project I didn’t have great communication skills and now I know how best to talk to people and how to be a leader,” he told the Canterbury-Bankstown Express in 2014.
I beg to differ.
He’s now claiming he was just joking and it was all just one big misunderstanding:
Nadir told The Daily Telegraph he planned to publicly apologise to the “Jewish community and anyone I’ve offended”, adding he needed to speak to authorities.
“It was a joke, a misunderstanding … I will use social media, anything, to apologise but I need to go and see the detectives first,” he said.
But of course.
As for his partner-in-grime, Sarah Abu Lebdeh is… a victim:
Ms Lebdeh is reportedly “sorry” for her remarks and has been experiencing an extreme panic attack in the wake of the controversy, a man identifying himself as her uncle told The Australian on Wednesday afternoon.
“I’m trying to calm her down to see what the f**k happened,” he said outside her home. “She’s been a nurse for God knows how long. She’s never done anything to hurt anyone.”
—
“No, she would never be a threat,” he said, claiming she will “come out and make a statement” in time.
“You can’t talk to her now because she’s having a panic attack, an anxiety attack. We might be calling the ambulance for her.”
You cannot make this stuff up.
Actually, her family said more than this, and it seems clear the poisonous apple has not fallen far from the tree:
This is Abu Lebdeh's family speaking to the media.

Meanwhile, it looks like Bankstown Hospital has not been entirely innocent,:
The Western Sydney hospital which has been forced to stand down two nurses for threatening to kill Israeli patients in a vile antisemitic video, scrubbed its social media pages which contained photos of other staff wearing pro-palestine slogans, before Sky News sent the hospital a series of questions.
Sky News can reveal Bankstown Hospital deleted evidence of a staff member wearing a shirt that called for Palestine to be free and also featured the trademark fist painted in the flag’s colours, before restoring the social media pages following media inquiries.
The image is still visible in the hospital’s Instagram section on its website, but when Sky News attempted to access the social media page separately this morning, it had been disabled.

In other news, the anti-Israel brigade are doing their thing:
