In the wake of the two Australian nurses threatening to kill Israeli patients comes another disturbing instance of an Australian medical professional supporting dead Jews.
Meet Dr Tasafin Hossain:

An oncologist at Cairns Hospital, Hossain has been mentioned in the news before for speaking at a vigil to “commemorate journalists and medical workers who have been killed in the Gaza conflict since October 2023”:
Cairns doctor and speaker at Friday’s vigil, Tasafin Hossain said she had been following the Israel-Palestine conflict since 2014 when 500 Palestinian children died in an air strike on a hospital.
“Being a doctor that feels wrong and so I followed that very closely. And ever since then I’ve been interested in this Israel-Palestine issue,” she said.”
But according to a video featuring the good doctor, recorded by and sent to me by reader JC, what apparently doesn’t “feel wrong” to her is showing support for the terror organizations Hamas and Hizbullah:
Exposed: Another Australian medical professional expressing vile views antithetical to humanity, let alone the medical profession.

While I trust JC that this is Hossain, I always like more in the way of proof.
On this Instagram account from where I got the photo above (which looks like the woman in the video), the name “Taz H” appears in the bio, and she has posted another video with the same woman:
while a story posted by the account links to this event organized by “Taz Hossain”:

If that wasn’t proof enough, she appeared in a Zoom lecture on Chemotherapy for Mediastinal Tumours. Comparing images from the Zoom lecture with the incriminating video, we see they are one and the same person:

And it gets worse. Dr Hossain doxxed JC, who sent the following complaint to Cairns Hospital:
I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding Dr Tasafin Hossein, who is a doctor in the CHHHS Oncology Department.
The reason I wish to lodge this complaint is because I suspect Dr Hossein has used hospital resources to identify me, and then post about me on social media.
A second issue is I witnessed Dr Hossein expressing support for two proscribed terrorist groups – Hamas and Hezbollah, in which she described them as “great” and “resistance movements”. I have video proof of this incident.
On 5th July, I was sitting at Cairns Esplanade, in front of a small pro-Israel display. A group that Dr Hossein is active in called FNQ Free Palestine was to hold a pro-Hamas vigil there later in the evening. When the pro-Hamas group arrived, I was attacked, my possessions scattered across the pavement, my camera was damaged, and they ripped down my Israeli flag and threw it away. To protest their violent treatment of me, I lay down on their large “Free Gaza” banner that they were attempting to erect in place of my Israeli flag, while demanding compensation for my broken camera. They refused repeated requests to see their Police Permit for this event, and they refused to pay for the damage to my camera. I refused to move until the police arrived.
While I was lying on this banner and being roughly manhandled by two of the pro-Hamas protesters, Dr Hossein arrived and told me “not to damage other people’s property”. Considering they had just broken a $500 camera several minutes earlier, this was quite an ironic request.
Nonetheless, the next day I discovered that Dr Hossein had posted a story on her personal Instagram account, identifying me by name.
Now… how did she get my name? I have never identified myself to this pro-Hamas group, because as a Jew, I value my personal safety. Now that she has doxxed me on her personal Instagram account, my physical safety is now at risk from any of her islamist or extremist followers. I have a unique name and it would be quite easy for them to track me down. So, the fact that Dr Hossein knows my name and is willing to publicly doxx me is of huge concern. Now that my name has been made public, and I have already been attacked and threatened by this pro-Hamas group, Dr Hossein has put me in genuine fear for my safety.
I believe it is possible that Dr Hossein may have accessed Qld Health records to identify me. It is also possible that she tracked me down through my partner who also works at Cairns Base Hospital. Either way, if she used her hospital contacts to identify me and publicly doxx me, it would constitute a case of severe misconduct. I believe Dr Hossein should be investigated to see if this is indeed what occurred.
I would also like to know if her express support for terrorist groups violates any hospital policies regarding the extra-curricular conduct of your doctors? Are patients safe to be treated by a doctor who expresses pro-terrorist sentiments?
How can Cairns Base Hospital assure me that a Jewish or Israeli patient would receive the same level of medical care as other patients, given her support for group that just committed the largest 1-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust?… I will provide video evidence of this incident if requested by your investigator.
Please see below screenshot of Dr Hossein’s Instagram story, where she identified me by my first name. I have also attached a photo of one of her comrades-in-arms manhandling me.
[screenshot redacted so as to not identify JC]
Believe it or not, JC tells me the hospital replied to say they did not believe the doctor breached any ethical guidelines.
Meanwhile, judging by the quote in her Instagram bio, I’d say she isn’t too fond of Australia either
