Remember Haley Joel Osment, the child actor from The Sixth Sense and other noteable movies of the 1990s and 2000s?
It looks like he grew up to be Mel Gibson.
Haley Joel Osment called a police officer an antisemitic slur and a “Nazi” when he was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance at a California ski resort earlier this month, as seen in bodycam footage obtained by The Post on Thursday.
The “Sixth Sense” star, 37, appeared belligerent and unable to keep his pants up as he struggled with police at Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, Calif., on Apr. 8.
Osment’s ski pants were strangely unbuttoned, causing them to slide down his waistline as he was being handcuffed and placed under arrest.
At one point, he shouted, “I’ve been kidnapped by a f–king Nazi.” He also claimed he was “being attacked” and accused officers of “torturing me.”
Cops repeatedly told the Oscar-nominated actor to cooperate, instructing him to “use your legs and stand up.”
Another video obtained by The Post showed Osment, 37, being arrested after officers allegedly found cocaine covered in a $20 bill in his possession.
Osment refused to give officers his name at first — stumbling around the question as they demanded to know his identity.
During the video, Osment said multiple times, “I’m an American,” to which one officer replied, “Well, you’re under arrest now.”
In the bodycam footage, police noted finding what they believed to be cocaine residue on money discovered with his room key in his ski helmet.
“I think there’s cocaine in that,” one officer stated.
While in the back of the cop car and on the way to jail, Osment was heard telling police, “You’re f–kin’ with my life.”
He was also caught on camera saying to officers, “You’ll wish you treated me nicer,” before hurling another slur at one of them.
“I was decent to you and you, and you are a f–king k–ke,” Osment stated.

In response to the bodycam footage, Osment exclusively told The Post, “I’m absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner.”
He also noted that his life has been rough the past few months after losing his home in the Altadena wildfire in January.
“The past few months of loss and displacement have broken me down to a very low emotional place,” he continued. “But that’s no excuse for using this disgusting word. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to absolutely everyone that this hurts. What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage – I’ve let the Jewish community down and it devastates me.”
Osment concluded, “I don’t ask for anyone’s forgiveness, but I promise to atone for my terrible mistake.”
I get he has been struggling, and my compassion is aroused. But why are people invariably going the antisemitic route?
Speaking about antisemites, they sure love to quote the Talmud (fabricated and out of context quotes at least). But here is an actual quote from Talmud Bavli, Eruvin 65a:
“נכנס יין יצא סוד” (“When wine enters, secrets come out“)
I am sure the same goes for Cocaine.
Deep down inside, Osment seems to harbor some negativity towards Jews. I truly hope he learns from this experience and uses his fame to combat Jew hatred instead of perpetuating it.
