American professional wrestler Bill Goldberg, as his surname indicates, is Jewish, and a proud Jew at that. Nevertheless, being an American Jew is not synonymous with expressing support for Israel these days.
On a recent wrestling podcast featuring two members of the Von Erich family (a legendary family of the world of professional wrestling), Goldberg spoke of his dream to have his retirement match in Israel – but not before the podcast hosts praised the country and people.

It is always nice to hear those who praise Israel and Israelis, but especially at a time when we are getting a bad rap – for just trying to survive.
