Remember queer dance artist Daniel Perry, who decided to inject his vile anti-Israel politics on stage after performing in Il Trovatore at the Royal Opera House in London?
He recently explained his actions and how Director Oliver Mears allegedly told them: “You will never work at the opera house again”:
Dancer Danni Perry raised a Palestine flag during their curtain call at the Royal Opera House, risking their career to speak out for Gaza: “I chose to do my demonstration during my curtain call, a moment for myself. I chose to make it about something bigger than me.”

Yes, Daniel, we are definitely making a mockery out of you. You are ridiculous and pathetic.
And here’s how I’d imagine your final curtain call (so to speak):
Yeah, this is how I imagine things working out for queer anti Israel dancer Danni Perry. Talk about a curtain call. https://t.co/cJUVEHaNbF pic.twitter.com/eagR0Gxiwn

But for now, Daniel Perry is dancing to a new tune – offstage, off-key, and off contract.
