A week ago I noticed the Israel-haters applauding British singer Jessie J for sharing posts condemning the Israeli government’s actions and expressing solidarity with Gazans.
I was surprised to see her painted as anti-Israel. For a start, her boyfriend and baby daddy Chanan Safir Colman is part Israeli. And she has shown her support for Israel against terrorism in the past – like this post from 2022:
I decided not to post anything about her supposedly anti-Israel post last week because I still wasn’t sure she was condemning Israel as much as lamenting the plight of Gaza’s civilians.
Fast forward to today and Jessie J has shown she simply cannot stand to see innocent people suffer – and that absolutely includes Israeli Jews:
Not surprisingly, the haters are turning on her:
By the way, this is not the first time the haters have tried to suggest Jessie J was on their side.
I think that Jessie J isn’t playing for Team Israel or Team “Free Palestine.” She’s on Team Basic Human Decency.
And that’s exactly why the haters can’t stand her.
Did I mention she was suffering a fair bit herself when she posted about starving Israeli hostage Evyatar David?
May Jessie J have a speedy and full recovery and may our remaining hostages like Evyatar be released just as speedily.
