This next story is almost poetic… in a bad way.
Meet upcoming selfie boat participant Marlene Engelhorn:

Yeah, she’s a keeper.
She’s also got quite the family history.
Engelhorn is a descendant of the family that founded the BASF chemical industrial company, which in the 1920s merged with IG Farben, one of the largest industrial powers during the Nazi regime. During this period, IG Farben produced the cyanide-based poison, which was used to murder millions of Jews during the Holocaust.
Marlene Engelhorn denies her family invented and sold Zyklon B, but does admit they profited from the Nazi regime:

It is rich that Marlene Engelhorn accuses Israel supporters of lies and propaganda… while herself perpetuating propaganda. For instance, besides alleging a non-existent genocide, she is seemingly defending ICC Chief Prosecutor and alleged me-too’er Can Cream Khan Karim Khan:

This is called gaslighting, which somehow seems appropriate given her family history.
She might claim to be ashamed her family profited from the Nazis, but I suspect Goebbels would be proud of her.
Der Apfel fällt nicht weit weg vom Stamm.
Meanwhile, with apologies to Suzanne Vega:
Marlene watches from the wharf
Her mocking smile says it all
She records the rise and fall
Of every comrade passing
Her fortune’s from Zyklon B
She supports the current Nazis
She’s a chicken for KFC
All that hating
Marlene on the wharf
