Rose Nakad Appears in Court For Harassing Jews on Campus

Back in October, I posted about Rose Nakad,  the University of Sydney staff member harassing Jews on campus.

She was suspended pending further investigation and was subsequently sacked and then arrested.

Today she appeared in court, pleading not guilty to two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear/physical harm, and another of offensive conduct.

And like the Bankstown nurses, Rose Nakad had her feral supporters with her.

She arrived flanked by a group of supporters at the Newtown Local Court on Tuesday, some wearing keffiyehs.

“They’re my support people,” Ms Nakad told the court officer, who initially did not permit them to enter the court. A decision was then made to allow them inside.

More like support dogs.

Outside court her supporters confronted the awaiting media, with one running up and asking if they had permission to film Ms Nakad walking out of court.

The woman attempted to block the camera with a keffiyeh, telling a reporter to “f–k off”.

“Go away Zio … go away … excuse me … kick rocks,” the woman yelled before Ms Nakad stepped in.

“Don’t get in trouble … It’s fine,” Ms Nakad said.

“Let’s move away from the court, because somebody’s doing surveillance.”

Ms Nakad did not respond when asked if she would like to comment on the case.

Another supporter also approached the media saying they did not have permission to film.

“You have to ask permission of the person to take a photo or a picture,” the woman said.

“Not on a public street,” the reporter replied.

Demanding “permission” to be filmed on a public street while screaming the antisemitic “Zio” slur at journalists perfectly encapsulates the movement: they believe the world belongs to them and the law only applies to everyone else.
