As regular readers know, Z-grade actor and Z-minus-grade human being Harry Cook claims the word “Intifada” does not involve violence – despite expressing his desire to brick “Zionists” in the face.
And you might think I have already written too much about this guy, but it is getting to the point where I genuinely believe him to be a potential violent threat.
At the very least, he could be seen to be inciting violence.
In the below recent video, Harry Cook rails against the “system”, which he sees to be “Zionist.” He believes “Our entire colonial, imperialist, z!onist system has to go. By any means necessary.”
In another recent video, he expresses a similar sentiment, railing against “These satanic, psych0pathic, g3nocidal, baby-3ating p3dophiles” in control of everything.
Antisemites love to refer to Jews as satanic people who eat babies and who are pedophiles. And Cook himself has referred to Israelis in this way. So while he does not mention Jews here, it could be taken to be a dog whistle.
And what does Cook mean by “by all means necessary”? If he wants to claim this is not inciting violence, good luck with that!
This isn’t about free speech. Harry Cook is free to rant into his phone all day long.
But when someone repeatedly talks about a shadowy “Zionist system” controlling everything, invokes medieval blood libel tropes about “baby-eaters,” says it all has to go “by any means necessary,” and cheers on comments about training in weaponry, that’s not abstract theory.
It’s escalation.
And in a climate where tensions are already high in Australia, rhetoric like this doesn’t float harmlessly in the ether. It lands somewhere.
Usually on the Jews.
So, yes, I am posting about Harry Cook yet again, but that’s because I am genuinely worried about him and his erratic videos – especially in the wake of the Bondi massacre.
