A few weeks ago I exposed Betty Taylor, the veteran campaigner against domestic violence and Member of the Order of Australia who tweeted against Jewish schoolchildren. I was threatened with possible legal action unless I removed my post. Needless to say, I did not back down.
Betty Taylor, however, did back down, deleting the offending tweet. I am guessing she realized my calls to have her stripped of her Order of Australia had more bite while she kept it up.
That is not to say that Betty Taylor has changed her ways.
She has since amplified a tweet in support of Grace Tame, the Australian of the Year who recently led chants to “Globalize the Intifada”:

and scoffed at concerns of increased antisemitism in Australia:

She also amplified Jackson Hinkle:

Jackson Hinkle is not just a renowned antisemite (something even Ha’aretz’s Gideon Levy understands), but he’s also a terror supporter:

rape denier:

misogynist:

and supporter of governments that are widely criticized for human-rights abuses – including those of women – such as Russia, China, and Iran.
In other words, Jackson Hinkle’s digital footprint is a masterclass in the very “locker room” toxicity and dehumanization that domestic violence advocates usually fight to dismantle.
But not Betty, who may have deleted her tweet about Jewish children, but whose digital trail continues to point in a singular, troubling direction.
One that makes her unworthy of the Order of Australia.
