Last month, Fatima Kurtić, a Muslim Bosnian-born public school teacher in Luxembourg, was fired from her job. She claims it was because of her “support for Palestine”. As the Sarajevo Times reported:
Fatima Kurtić, a teacher of Bosnian and Herzegovinian origin in Luxembourg, claims she lost her job due to her public support for the people of Palestine and criticism of Israel’s actions.
Kurtić said that her statements do not have an antisemitic character, but represent a moral obligation of someone whose family went through the Srebrenica genocide.
“Many of my family members were killed in Srebrenica, and I can’t easily ignore yet another genocide. It is genocide, it truly is genocide. People are killed, tortured, and raped,” she told TRT Haber.
She said that not even the death threats she had received or the hatred could prevent her from talking about it.
“You must have empathy to sympathize with others. However, looking at the case of Bosnia, we didn’t give up. Even with nothing, we managed to survive and endure. The plan was to bury us all, kill us all, and they failed,” she said.
As she says, she is not hiding anything; her social media is public.
The Ministry of National Education said the decision was based on posts it considered antisemitic and incompatible with the duties of a civil servant. But Kurtić has denied this, and launched a campaign to paint herself as the victim of a smear campaign – receiving much support.

Did she post things “antisemitic and incompatible with the duties of a civil servant”? Hell yeah.
As usual, this is a case of an Israel-hater lying.
And by Israel-hater, I mean antisemite and terror-supporter.
Fatima Kurtić said she is not hiding anything. Perhaps she should have. Because her social media is public, which means I have the receipts.
Receipts like her posting the antisemitic trope of rich Jews (Rothschild) controlling the banks and being behind the world’s wars:

not to mention the entire world (but using the antisemitic slur “zios” instead of “Jews”):
And even if we give Kurtić the benefit of the doubt regarding the below post, and assume she is not poking fun at the man’s appearance as a religious Jew, she is basically saying she would join Hamas or another terror organization:

In fact, mockery of religious Jews seems to be a thing with her – not to mention wanting Israel destroyed:
She also shared the below from an Instagram account called factchecking1488. The account seems to disseminate antisemitic content, and perhaps the clue is in the name; 1488 is a number widely used as a neo-Nazi code (14 commonly refers to the white-supremacist Fourteen Words, while 88 = HH = Heil Hitler). In this case, she has shared a fabricated image (Mamdani never shared this) perpetuating the antisemitic blood libel that we steal organs.
While there was a scandal involving unauthorized postmortem tissue removal from several groups – including palestinian Arabs and Israelis – by pathologists decades ago, this was not a program of stealing palestinian Arabs’ organs as the screenshot implies. In fact, The Guardian changed their headline to make this clear.
Not that this is her only foray into accusing us of stealing palestinian Arab organs – with bonus praise of how Hamas returned the bodies of the Bibas family who she claims the IDF killed:
But don’t worry. Some of her best friends are Jewish.
I am sure you get the point. It should be abundantly clear that Fatima Kurtić was not fired for merely “supporting Palestine” or “criticizing Israel.”
The Ministry of National Education didn’t smear her, it simply read her timeline.
