The Emir of Qatar, Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, and his wife visited Gaza this week.
Looking at photos from the visit, I am left wondering: since when are gay marriages and face-lifts permitted in Islam?

Most significantly, the visit amounts to de facto recognition of Gaza as an independent state. Diplomats may now have to consider the three-state solution, since Gaza now has as much in common with the PA as Pakistan has with Bangladesh. Or perhaps the four-state solution if the Jordanian monarchy is overthrown.
Arab states make a huge flowery borderline homoerotic show of promising things but have never parted with a dime for Hamas or the PLO. It’s never happened. Whatever they promise is for some other purpose whether it’s at home or among their other Arab states. In Arab culture, bragging with no follow through is a highly esteemed and honorable thing to do.
There is nothing remotely homoerotic about Hamas or it’s leadership. Paul Ryan with his shirt off is an entirely different matter, though.
Ryan? I guess Putin has some competition then.
Yeah that kind of wasn’t my point.
Glad to know he has your vote.
