Route

In order to allow spectators an improved and prolonged view of the event’s highlights, we have decided to change the course of the track. The route will start from the Old Train Station and continue through Remez Street, leading to the Gan Ha’Paamon where the first stunt area will be located. Onward, the route will continue to King David Street, turning right at Karib Street, before continuing along Mamilla Avenue. The second stunt area will be located at the footsteps of the Old City walls, at the entrance to the Karta parking lot. From there, the vehicles will return to the original starting point.

Unique VIP zones will be placed at locations along the entire route. The public will be able to purchase tickets to the some of the seating areas in advance at the BIMOT box office.

 Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat:

“Last year, the Jerusalem Formula Road Show attracted over 250,000 people to Jerusalem, significantly contributed to the city’s economy and tourism, and gave the world a different perspective of the city. The pictures of the Formula 1 cars racing through our streets sent an international message that Jerusalem is an open, welcoming city in which sport and entertainment are enjoyed by residents and tourists alike.

Last year was an amazing event, hope they learned from the first attempt to make this year even better.  One thing I noticed was that there are to be official “crossing times” so there should be fewer tears from those stuck on wrong side of track.

But, wonder why they took the word “Peace” out of the 2014 official title.
