Anti-Israel Celebrity Numbskull of the Day: Lauren Jauregui

Lauren Jauregui is an American singer, best known as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony.

She also fancies herself as a social justice warrior.

This is what Lauren Jauregui tweeted yesterday.

I am not sure if she is referring to the recent March of Return riots or in general – there certainly was no bombing at the riots – but I assume the March of Return “inspired” her to speak out like this. Assad’s chemical weapons attack in Syria on innocent children (which happened after the March of Return)? Not even a peep from her.

Jauregui certainly needs to educate herself if she wants to truly be about justice. The only children being deliberately bombed in this neck of the woods (besides in Syria) are in Israel, when Hamas and other terrorist organizations fire rockets at Sderot and other civilian population centers. IAF strikes target terrorist infrastructure, and when children are killed in Gaza, it is invariably because the terrorists fired rockets deliberately near where they were located.

As for her reference to “genocide”, this is another libel, plain and simple.

In case you are wondering why I am posting about Lauren Jauregui, she has over 4 million followers on Twitter and 5 million on Instagram. So even if you haven’t heard of her, many clearly follow her and even see her as a role model.

And that is very troubling.
