Subject: you forgot one in the voting
Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2005 16:25:10 +0100 (CET)O.K. so she’s a friend of mine – but she has a fairly interesting PERSONAL BLOG and she’s PRO-ISRAEL and PRO-JEWISH. She is also listed on the blogburst participant list. I would like to cast my vote for:[name and URL of blog removed to protect the presumed innocent]
My response:
Dear Anonymous,Please accept my humble apologies for not including your friend’s blog in the voting. But thanks for casting your vote for her anyway, despite the fact that it won’t count for anything, given my aforementioned, unfortunate omission. (And also thanks for highlighting the categories in CAPS LOCK. I truly appreciated that, since it made them hard to miss).I know you probably think I have much time on my hands – despite having a day job, personal responsibilities, and the task of ensuring that these awards run smoothly – but I am somewhat busy, so I unfortunately won’t be able to roll-back the voting, add your friend’s blog, and then begin the whole process once again. So please forgive me.In future, may I suggest that you do what everyone else has done, and nominate your friend’s blog when I ask for nominations. It kind of makes it easier for me to set-up the polls when I know the blogs in advance.Regards,Dave
