More Deplorable Reactions To The Murder Of The Henkins

As Deebo posted yesterday, the murder of the Henkins brought out some of the nastiest scum and villainy on social media.

Unfortunately, there was more from where that came.

Specimen A: Joe Catron, whose hatred for Israel knows no bounds as I have shown before.

So beyond the pale was that tweet that even HRW’s Sarah Leah Whitson – no friend of Israel – took issue with it.

Specimen B: Free Gaza (I believe Greta Berlin may run the account)

Specimen C: Some Jewish sounding woman who loves animals, but not Jews

There are hundreds more such tweets, but I do not have the stomach to wade through more of the excrement.

  1. Greta Berlin is SQUATTING on Native American soil. By her very own definition she deserves to die. She might consider taking a dose of her own medicine.

  2. In what place on earth is murder ever considered a valid form of protest? Seriously, unless you hate Israel and Jews, with a froth at the mouth seething hate, what in history of anywhere could you possibly compare to repeated violent murderous attacks, and the ensuing CELEBRATIONS from the Palestenians? It shouldn’t matter whether it’s against civilians (even though these latest murders were); I don’t think anyone claimed Lee Rigby or the victims at Fort Hood weren’t murdered.
I have tried to contemplate the left wing arguments – at least a few of them mean well. Even if you truly believe Israel is occupying this land and infringing on Palestenians’ rights, you would have to at least acknowledge that these Israelis (not all Jews) really believe that they have a right to live on land which has had Jewish presence since biblical times, which was won back in a defensive war, and which they paid for. That is, you would have to at least acknowledge that even if you and many others disagree, these people believe every bit as much as the Palestenians that they have a legal right to live where they do (hence the term disputed). And if you acknowledge this fact, how do you ignore the obvious imbalance between these two “extremist” sides? How can you justify just one side murdering normal people, going about their day, and being praised by their family and the leadership for murder? If you acknowledge that these people (the “settlers”) believe with all their soul that they belong there, how do you explain that Arabs (and left wing secular Israelis) don’t get lynched for wondering into a settlement because they took a wrong turn, that Arab villages all over Israel are not used as target practice for rocks and Molotov cocktails from the “extremists” on the other side? Even if you believe the Palestenians are helpless, defenceless victims, how can you explain murder furthering their goals of independence and dignity?
