Jordan Again Blames Israel For Taking Out The Trash

Today, a Jordanian citizen visiting Israel decided his time would be best spent murdering some Jews. So he tried to do so – stabbing an Israeli police officer – and ended up pushing up daisies.

There is no doubt as to what occurred. It was caught on camera.

The police officer is lucky to have survived.

Yet check out the despicable response from Jordan:

Hours after the event, the Jordanian government said Israel was responsible for the slaying of one of its citizens.

“The Israeli government, as the occupying power in Jerusalem, bears responsibility for the shooting of a Jordanian civilian who was killed,” Hebrew media, quoting Jordan’s Minister of Communications Muhammad al-Mu’man, reported.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry in Tel Aviv added it was following closely the details of the event, describing the incident as an “ugly crime.”

And it is not the first time. Remember this from last September?

Jordan has demanded a detailed explanation from Israel about the killing of a 28-year-old Jordanian by Israeli troops last week.

Israeli police have said Said Amro came out of a gate of Jerusalem’s Old City with a knife in each hand, shouted “God is Great” and rushed at officers before being shot dead.

The state news agency Petra says Jordan’s information minister met Monday at the Foreign Ministry with the Israeli ambassador to Jordan and asked for explanations.

I can’t say it much better than our Prime Minister:

“It is time that Jordan ceases its double sided game,” Netanyahu said.  “Just as Israel condemns terror attacks in Jordan, Jordan must condemn terrorist attacks in Israel. Terror is terror,” he added.

Terror is terror. But peace partners are not always peace partners.

  1. Maybe something is getting lost in translation. I have a simple solution: the Jordanian government needs to conduct an exact reinactment on the ministers.

  2. Israel’s own internal Arab lovers would be demanding he be given the Elor Azaria treatment.

Except the evidence is clear and indisputable. The Jew was assaulted without provocation.

I do get it – being a Jew is a provocation to Israel’s enemies. If only the police officer had tamely submitted to being murdered, there would be no international incident – and no controversy over his use of force.

What we have here, ladies and gentlemen – is the classic double standard.

  3. I think Israel should demand an explanation from the Jordanian Ambassador to Israel why their citizens are such murdering scumbag terrorists and what they are going to do stop it

  4. King Abdullah is such a slimeball. He goes on national news programs in his suit and tie, speaks the most flawless English, and still has the temerity to blame Israel for the chaotic Islamic mess everywhere outside of Israel.
