Following revelations that he left a Holocaust Museum tour before the end comes more troubling news about D.C Lawmaker Trayon White: he reportedly used his constituent services fund to sponsor a Nation of Islam event, where leader Louis Farrakhan spouted his usual antisemitic nonsense.
There are new calls to officially reprimand D.C. Council Member Trayon White, but White says he’s not going anywhere.
In the last few weeks, White has found himself at odds with the Jewish community.
According to The Washington Post, White donated $500 from his constituent services fund to sponsor a Nation of Islam event, where leader Louis Farrakhan said “powerful Jews are my enemy.”
Money from that fund is supposed to benefit D.C. residents.
“Now he’s stepped over a particular line that may involve a violation of the rules about how you use your constituent services fund,” Council Member Mary Cheh said.
Cheh is calling for the council to reprimand White.
When asked about the donation, White told The Washington Post, “The Brothers from the National [of Islam] are of the few men that show up to help…us address crime and social ills in Southeast.”
“Powerful Jews are my enemy” – no doubt those meddling Rothschilds again!
Meanwhile, White claims he did not leave the Holocaust Museum tour early.
White denied he left the tour early in a Facebook Live video published Saturday morning.
“The media takes a part of a truth and adds some lies in there and try to act like that’s the whole truth,” White said. “I actually stayed the entire visit…That’s the truth.”
No Trayon, it is not. The Rabbi was pretty clear that you left early.
Seriously, this man seems equal parts dumbass and antisemite. Although they do usually go hand-in-hand.
