The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) provides yet more grist for my mill, posting an Al Jizz video about a palestinian seed collector doing her thing because of those big, bad Israelis and their innovations in agriculture (seed what I did there?)
PIC’s introductory text about “ancient heirloom seeds,” as well as their video title “The Seed Queen of Palestine” (which sounds more like the woman with the most children), really sets the tone of ridiculous. The video itself continues it.
Sansour, not Sarsour, by the way. I know what you were thinking.

But it’s great to see a palestinian so passionate about seeds! Given their proclivity to destroy greenhouses and valuable agricultural land, I was beginning to worry.
