Rep. Ilhan Omar has gone off on Twitter, in response to Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu’s AIPAC speech.
At this year’s AIPAC conference, the topic PM Netanyahu chose to focus on was…me.https://t.co/HbomAHmh9Y

We are not even 6 months out from the Pittsburgh massacre.
We are not even 2 weeks out from the Christchurch massacre.Yet the topic Netanyahu chose to focus on was…me.

White supremacist violence is on the rise globally. Right-wing extremists killed more people in the US in 2018 than any year since 1995. Anti-Semitic violence accounted for 58% of religious hate crimes.
Yet the topic Netanyahu chose to focus on was…me.

Netanyahu is in an alliance with Otzma Yehudit, referred to as the “KKK of Israel.” Its leaders were members of a foreign terror organization and were involved in attempts to target Yitzhak Rabin.
Yet Netanyahu chose to focus on…me. https://t.co/u0xJlIKmE3

Meanwhile, Hamas has been shooting at and beating Gazans. Yet Omar chose to focus on…us (not even a mention of the Gaza strife).
Which makes her a huge hypocrite
To confront hate and bigotry in all its forms, we must understand that they are all related. We cannot call out one form of hate while turning a blind eye to another.

We must stand for universal values of human rights—and the international institutions designed to uphold them—wherever they may be violated.

and, in my opinion, a Jew hater.
Update: By the way, here is Bibi’s almost 10-minute-long speech.
Omar is not even mentioned. Sure, she would be included in the “antisemites” he speaks of, and there is the “Benjamin” quip. But to suggest he focused on her is simply not true and, to be frank, rather conceited.
Update: She’s also a liar.
⁃AIPAC and Netanyahu vigorously opposed President Obama’s efforts to secure the Iran nuclear deal
⁃AIPAC and Netanyahu openly opposed the Oslo Accords— and the 1993 peace process.— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) March 26, 2019
Netanyahu was involved in peace negotiations before Oslo, and ran his PM election campaign on fixing, but not leaving, Oslo, and of course he followed that course, in 1998 agreeing to redeploy from Hebron.
All information that Omar can easily access if she so desired.
