Yes, we did not actually land as we would have liked (euphemism for crashed), but Israel’s Beresheet did manage to take this amazing photo of the moon right before impact.
Had we landed and not crashed, would the photo really have been that much better?

It is all about bragging rights. The fact remains what Team Space IL accomplished is incredible. Let’s celebrate that and not focus on the fact the photo may have been a little bit clearer.
