Disturbing Footage and Scenes from Yesterday’s Israel-Hate Rally in London
I mentioned yesterday’s anti-Israel rally in London in passing in this post, but here’s some “low-lights” from it.
Labor MP Diane Abbott reads out a statement from her boss Jeremy Corbyn. The statement includes the libel that we shoot “unarmed Palestinians for simply demanding their rights under international law.” It also mentions the number of Gazans who died last week as a result of IDF strikes, a number that almost exclusively consisted of terrorists. And while it does mention the 4 Israelis who were murdered, it goes on to condemn Israel and demand a suspension of arms sales.

Fellow Labor MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle utters the blood libel that we mow down peaceful protesters and innocent palestinians, and lazily boils down the conflict to “oppressor and oppressed.”

Glyn Secker of Jewish Voice for Labor claiming that Jews were “in the gutter” and “part of the problem”.
Watch antisemitism-denial group @JVoiceLabour’s Secretary claiming:
• American Rabbis fuelled the neo-Nazis behind the Poway synagogue shooting
• Jews are “in the gutter” and embrace the EDL
• Jews reporting antisemitism “cry wolf”
• Jewish leaders are “part of the problem” pic.twitter.com/uN9y1zRp7G— Campaign Against Antisemitism (@antisemitism) May 11, 2019
Vicky Knight, President of the ECU, repeats the long discredited blood libel that there was a massacre in Jenin that she claims “they witnessed firsthand.”
A Sinn Fein assembly leader lies about Israel conducting a “slaughter” on Gaza, and repeats the blood libel about Israel murdering a 14-month-old baby and her pregnant mother – who we know were killed by their own. Naturally, right there in London, she accuses the British army of doing similar things to her own people.
She also seems to be under the misapprehension that a palestinian state already exists.
Husam Zomlot, Head of the palestinian Mission to the UK and Holocaust denier, brings on to the stage featured speaker ‘Shirley Temper’ Ahed Tamimi, the two of them then flashing the decidely not peaceful ‘V for victory’ sign.
He speaks of the wrongs of the Balfour Declaration and 1948, making clear that to him, the entire state of Israel is illegitimate. He also speaks of Gaza as “2 million people in a cage for 12 years.” Besides the fact this is an inflated number (there are approximately 1.7 million people in Gaza), the 12 years is curious, given we left Gaza 14 years ago. According to this liar, we caged the Gazans even after we left.
Also “Name me one nation that is greater than the people of Palestine! One nation!” Yes, seriously.
He also mentions 6.5 million palestinian refugees, a cool 1.5 million more than even the grossly inflated UNRWA number, which includes those who lived in “Palestine” a minimum of only two years preceding 1948, as well as descendants of these “refugees” (including adopted children).
As for Tamimi, she utters “from the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” – the infamous catch-cry for the destruction of the Jewish state.
According to this tweet, the Neturei Karta were there…they claim to be “Torah true” Orthodox Jews, yet were at the rally on the Jewish Shabbat.

Finally, I think this photo from the hate rally sums things up nicely – a Stop the War Coalition sign next to one saying Exist Resist Return, with a fist connoting violence.
Update: More antisemitism on display here
Antisemitism in a single image – Jews control the media, Jews are the new Nazis, Jews have no right to a state, Jews bring antisemitism upon themselves. Anyone who ignores this hard left antisemitism doesn’t give a damn about Jews or fighting racism. via @antisemitism pic.twitter.com/16YJujrodX

Update: Yet more disturbing reading here
THREAD today in London the @PSCupdates together with @FriendsofAlAqsa organised a demonstration for Palestine. Marchers called for "victory to the Intifada" and chanted "from the river to the sea Palestine will be free" arguing all of Israel is an occupied territory pic.twitter.com/p4hvDlfFrd

The crowd call for "Victory of the Intifada" hardly a bunch of peace activists. Less than a week ago 700 rockets were fired on Israeli population centres by Hamas killing 4 Israeli civilians and a pregnant Gazan mother and her daughter. Hamas are explicit in targeting civilians. pic.twitter.com/R5IYAbgoZO

Apparently antisemitism is all Israel's fault, the logic goes that if only Israelis weren't so evil people wouldn't hate Jews so much. Pre-Israel antisemites used to say if only Jews weren't so evil antisemitism wouldn't exist. pic.twitter.com/xjoEac0xrF

Such conspiracies tend to come back on the Jews as the elite benefitting from whatever nefarious deed they are accused of. Today it was all out in the open for everyone to see. Victory to an Intifada that is explicit in its targeting of civilians & Jew hatred on London's streets pic.twitter.com/TgGPM1Hmyi
