A few days ago, I posted an interview between an outfit called Iceland Music News and Israel-hating band Hatari. In the interview, two of the band members acted contrite and claimed they did not want to wave palestinian scarves at Eurovision, but felt forced to in order to keep their jobs.
It turns out (as some of you had surmised) that the interview was all an elaborate act. In a real interview, Hatari band members have confirmed they run Iceland Music news as well as the company supposedly pulling their strings, and that they are, indeed, real Israel haters. They planned the scarf stunt themselves, and even smuggled the scarves in to Israel past soldiers.
This also means these previous comments were fake as well.
In other words, they have acted with malevolence and come with hatred – as their doubling-down on their anti-Israel actions reaffirms.
The only true part seems to be the fact they are failed anti-capitalists. They are profiting from all of this.
And the only thing as sickening as these creeps is the way they seem to have been treated as heroes in Iceland.
