Canadian Non-Profit Claims Israel is Threatening to Nuke Iran and Others

The Centre for Research on Globalization (CRG) is an independent research and media organization based in Montreal, operating as a registered non-profit.

Even though it claims to be independent (and one would hope objective), it seems to have a real agenda.

The Global Research website was established on the 9th of September 2001, two days before the tragic events of September 11. Barely a few days later, Global Research had become a major news source on the New World Order and Washington’s “war on terrorism”.

Since September 2001, we have established an extensive archive of news articles, in-depth reports and analysis on issues which are barely covered by the mainstream media.

In an era of media disinformation, our focus has essentially been to center on the “unspoken truth”.

During the invasion of Iraq (March-April 2003), Global Research published, on a daily basis, independent reports from the Middle East, which provided an alternative to the news emanating from the “embedded” journalists reporting from the war theater. Since 2004, Global Research has provided detailed analysis and coverage of US-NATO-Israel preparations to wage a pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran. Starting in 2011, GR has developed dossiers on the US-NATO led wars on Libya and Syria, the Arab Protest movement, the environmental impacts of the Fukushima disaster, the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, the Saudi-US led war on Yemen, the militarization of the African continent, the development of the police state in North America and Western Europe, the devastating impacts of biotechnology and GMO among other important topics.

Yesterday, they published this piece of “research”:

Israel Threatens to Use Nuclear Weapons to ‘Wipe Out’ Its Enemies

Standing next to a secretive Israeli atomic reactor earlier in the week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to “wipe out” his enemies. In a speech that many will see as the Jewish state breaking its long silence over the possession of nuclear weapons, the Likud leader warned that it has the means to destroy its enemies.

“Those who threaten to wipe us out put themselves in a similar danger, and in any event will not achieve their goal,” he said on Wednesday during a ceremony to rename the complex, near the desert town of Dimona.

The site has long been suspected to be the location where Israel has been developing nuclear weapons.

Iran hit back by describing Netanyahu as a “warmonger”.  The threat “atomic annihilation” against the Islamic Republic was denounced as “beyond shameless in the gall”.

The headline – which makes it sound like Israel PM Netanyahu is threatening Iran and others with nuclear obliteration for shits’n’giggles – is absolutely misleading – and I strongly suspect deliberately so. Note his actual words:

Those who threaten to wipe us out put themselves in a similar danger, and in any event will not achieve their goal”

Our ‘ambiguous’ nuclear policy is to use our supposed nuclear capabilities only as a deterrent. There is nothing in what PM Netanyahu said that represents any deviation from this strategy.

By the way, these comments are over a year old. This is not news and certainly not research. It is anti-Israel propaganda.

By the way, if you search their website with the keyword ‘Iran’, it is become even more obvious where they stand on all of this.

With the bad guys.

Update: And there you have it.
