WATCH: Palestinian Press Interfering in IDF Activities

A palestinian journalist by the name of Bilal Altaweel has taken footage supposed to show “arrests and injuries of journalists at the north entrance of Bethlehem in solidarity, protest and anger at the injury of the friend and fellow journalist Muath Amarneh” – who lost vision in one eye after allegedly being struck by Israeli fire while covering a demonstration last week.

But as you can see from Altaweel’s own footage, what it really shows are members of the press getting physical with IDF soldiers, and interfering with their activities (hat tip: Uri).

The press is supposed to cover events and certainly not impede IDF soldiers. The palestinians are constantly claiming that injured members of their press were merely reporting events when they were attacked by the IDF. This footage should give us an idea as to likelihood of this actually being the case.
