Last Thursday, a few hundred Israelis gathered in Ramallah to mark the United Nations’ International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. These comprised of left-wingers, (treacherous) Arab-Israeli officials, and some nutters from the fringe Neturei Karta sect (who call for a dismantling of the Jewish state).
It turns out that even the left-wingers had a small amount of self-respect, and did not like hearing people who want Israel destroyed.
Hilarity ensued.
It’s just a shame this did not devolve into a good old fashioned brawl.
But we should not let the pricelessness of this cloud the fact that the PA held a conference in which speakers spoke of the illegitimacy of the entire state of Israel.
