In the Rolling Stone interview I posted yesterday, Roger Waters went off against the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos.
This is rich (pardon the pun) of Waters, given his own wealth and lifestyle.
Waters owns not one but two insanely expensive houses. At least those that I know of.
Exhibit A: Estate in Bridgehampton, New York. He purchased this property in 2010 for $16.2 million, tore down the classic 1900 Hampton home and built this one in its place.
Do the math on how many poor people he could have fed with that money.
Bonus hypocrisy: he goes to a golf club in “occupied territories.”
Exhibit B: Townhouse in Manhattan, New York, purchased in 2007 for a reported $15 million.
