I’m glad you asked.

The world (I am generalizing) sees Israel as having stolen something from the palestinians (who the world infantilizes), while offering something less-than in return. To them, the palestinian’s violent response is legitimate resistance.

The truth is we did not steal anything, and the palestinian Arabs were attacking us, even before there was a state of Israel established.
