Linda Sarsour – who claims to be an anti-Zionist-not-antisemite and an ally of the Jewish community – yesterday tweeted something so vile, she subsequently deleted it due to the backlash:
Translation: I really hate the fact the Jewish state has sent people to help try find survivors and retrieve the bodies of dead people. It makes them look good, and I cannot stand that thought. So much so, I would rather a smaller chance that survivors be found and bodies retrieved.
I want to express that I cannot understand how Jews from the Jewish state could ever do anything good, but here’s my as-a-Jew-ish friend of mine who has articulated exactly what I wanted to say. You see, some of my best friends are Jewish.
As I said, Sarsour deleted her tweet (her as-a-Jew-ish friend’s series of tweets on this are still up), subsequently painting herself as a victim:
But not to worry. She managed to leave up a similar tweet by her favorite as-a-Jew-ish friend, this time criticizing the Israeli Minister of Defense for expressing sympathy with the starving people of Lebanon.
Linda Sarsour has repeatedly rejected allegations she is a Jew-hater. And I half agree with her – she does seem to love dead Jews.
