Hamas Cover-Up Yet Another Murder

Following my previous post dealing with Hamas’ killing of Hassan Abu Zayed and their subsequent cover-up, the EU actually reacted to his killing, as well as the killing of another Gazan at Hamas’ hands.

The European Union said on Tuesday that it was “appalled” by the deaths of two Gaza residents during or immediately following altercations with Hamas security forces, as human rights groups call for independent investigations of both deaths.

Imad Tawil, a 27-year-old resident of Deir al-Balah, was allegedly beaten by Hamas police early on Sunday during a raid by officers in the city’s al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp. A half hour later, Tawil began to complain of chest pains before collapsing. Although he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he later died, according to the Independent Commission for Human Rights.

More details in this report, including:

The authority confirmed that a doctor delegated by it participated in the autopsy, and his report indicated the presence of bruises on the right arm and left arm, and on the left elbow, and a small abrasion on the left knee from the front, and the presence of redness on the chest area in the middle resulting from the process of resuscitation. The medical cause of death was a recent myocardial infarction, and this infarction was caused by a blockage in the descending left coronary artery (cardiac arrest).

And how do Hamas explain his death?

Interestingly, people are actually calling out the lie in the comments to this post.

So we have these two lies from Hamas surrounding their killing of two people within a short period of time, yet Human Rights Watch still rely on their testimony when creating reports to bash Israel for supposed war crimes.
