MMA Fighting reports on a hot new feud:
Belal Muhammad is currently the No. 13-ranked welterweight contender in MMA Fighting’s Global Rankings and is coming off a victory over former middleweight title challenger Demian Maia at UFC 263, and citing personal dislike, Muhammad has thrown his name in the ring to square up against Strickland.
If they need someone for Strickland I’m down I hate that piece of trash @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 @seanshelby

It appears that much of Muhammad’s dislike towards Sean Strickland comes from comments Strickland made about Palestine on social media, stating Palestinians need to “bend the f*cking knee, integrate and become safe and successful”. Muhammad was born to Palestinian parents and carries a Palestinian flag with him during his fight walkouts and was not pleased with the comments.
He disrespected Palestine so I wouldn’t miss disrespecting his face

It seems this is the comment that has Muhammad going after Strickland:
Leading to Strickland recount how he has been receiving death threats from “Palestine” supporters:

While I am not comfortable with everything Strickland wrote in his comment or its tone (Israel is not out to make palestinian Arabs “bend the knee” for instance), his historical observations about the Arab-Israeli wars, as well as observations on the difference between Israel supporters and “Palestine” supporters (Israel haters), are pretty much on the money.
