Jordan Demands Investigation into Gender of Iranian Women’s Football Team Goalkeeper

The Jordan Football Association has filed a complaint with the Asian Football Confederation, to verify the gender of one of the Iranian Women National Team players, who participated in the final qualifying match of the Asian Cup in Uzbekistan.

According to reports, the player in question is the Iranian goalkeeper, pictured below:

And here she(?) is in action:

Before you jump on the Jordanians for perhaps discriminating against a masculine-looking woman, I suspect there is more than this to suspect Iranian foul play.

And let’s face it: the Iranians are terrible sports, as we see from their constant refusal to compete against Israelis.
