Jewish Currents describes itself as a “magazine committed to the rich tradition of thought, activism, and culture of the Jewish left, and the left more broadly.” But I describe it as a radical anti-Israel rag, counting the likes of Israel-hater Peter Beinart among its writers.
If you think I am exaggerating, consider the following occurrence from just yesterday: Jewish Currents apologized to its readers for releasing an advertisement:

The ad in question was for the Dorot Fellowship:
Here is what you need to know about them (courtesy of my friend David):
I can confirm the above is all correct. Another friend of mine told me that everyone he knows who went on the Dorot Fellowship went in as a left-winger and came back as a left-winger. No-one came out as a gung-ho Zionist, and many worked with palestinian “human rights” organizations.
In other words, even setting foot in Israel now seems to be beyond the pale for these as-a-Jews.
But it is them who are beyond the pale.
Update: I guess this means even the likes of Ariel Gold are now treif according to Jewish Currents?
