The Jisr Collective calls itself a “Diaspora Arab Media Collective challenging imperialism and capitalism.” They have just posed the following on Instagram, showing their opposition to the BDS Movement and unequivocal support for terrorism – not to mention antisemitism:
Grassroots organizers for the liberation of Palestine insist on the continuation of boycotts and support resistance in all its forms. Globally these organizers denounce every form of normalization that the comprador have relied on to bolster their status.
Principled organizations do not heed the orders of corrupt funding sources but rely on the priceless thawabet and principles to guide their movement building. These principles naturally unite them and keep them accountable–and no organization or entity can skirt accountability no matter how prestigious they become in western imperialist institutions!
Notice not just the statement of support for “resistance in all its forms”, but also the sword in the hand of the palestinian Arab cartoon character Handala in the first graphic. There is absolutely no doubt to what kind of “resistance” they are referring. But they are being unfair to the BDS Movement – their co-founder Omar Barghouti most certainly agrees with them on this.
Notice also how they admit that the BDS Movement creates “false victories.” I have been documenting these over the years and they just keep coming!
By the way, they are not the only antisemites to have a problem with J-Street. DouchebloggerTM Richard Silverstein has attacked them for welcoming the US State Department’s findings on the killing of Shireen Abu Aqleh.
There is just no pleasing antisemites.
