Surprise, Surprise: Habibah Jaghoori’s Defenders Include Real Antisemites

A few days ago, I reported how Adelaide University student magazine On Dit reposted their editor Habibah Jaghoori’s vile “Death to Israel” article after Medium took it down.

In the comments to On Dit’s Facebook post, many students have defended the article, while some Israel activists (like yours truly) have called them out on it.

As usual, I have learned that engaging with these people usually serves one purpose and one purpose only: to expose them to reasonable people as hateful and, invariably, actual antisemites. And like clockwork, it happened again.

A former Flinders University student called Alice Bardot (assuming that is her real identity) applauded On Dit’s morally bankrupt stand:

But it did not take too long for her to reveal what is really behind it, with a rant about Jewish power:

the dual loyalty trope:

and “the Holocaust industry”

Meanwhile this is how another student called Stasi Kapetonos reacted to the heartfelt concerns expressed by a Jewish student in the student council meeting:

This is the same person whose comment about “Zionists having no place in civil society” Jaghoori herself retweeted:

He has since had his Twitter account suspended, possibly for that very vile tweet.

Understanding that those in Jaghoori’s corner include people with such hatred for proud Jews, it is no wonder they do not speak out against her shilling for the humans-right abusing Iranian regime.
