As you may already be aware, an orthodox Jewish boy’s group called The Miami Boys Choir has gone viral on TikTok for their song Yerushalayim, over a decade after they performed it.
@miamiboyschoir 🗣🗣🗣🗣 after 40+ years of performance excellence, here were 4 soloists who helped usher in big changes for the Miami Boys Choir – the beginning of the Gen-Z generation of MBC’s worldwide fans and followers (2008-2012) #vocals #solo #performance #israel #ישראל #מוסיקה #music #jewish ♬ original sound – Yerachmiel Begun and MBC
And by viral I mean not just among Jews – non-Jews have gone crazy over it too.
And, in the case of the University of Wisconsin’s music magazine’s social media account – antisemitic:

“Yerushalayim” is Hebrew for Jerusalem, and the song is from Psalms.
My Psalms are older than your antisemitism. https://t.co/nNniiDNzTO pic.twitter.com/KcHGOElO83

I guess Orthodox Jewish boys with great voices singing something catchy and buoyant in a foreign language is ok, even viral-worthy, as long as they are not true to their religion Judaism.
And this, my friends, is further proof that anti-Zionism is invariably antisemitism.
In other news, Jewish songs are mostly based on prayers and Psalms – and frequently are about Israel or include verses about Israel. Deal with it.
Update: By the way, you may recall the last time I wrote about the Miami Boys Choir was also in response to an antisemitic comment about them by a music writer.
