MEMO has published photos from Gaza’s ‘Our Foods’ exhibition, which supposedly “puts Palestinians produce and dishes on display.”
I say “supposedly”, because judging by the photos, there is a bit of cultural appropriation going on.
Like this food that looks suspiciously like Bamba, Israel’s most popular savory snack:
Not that this is their first time co-opting one of our snacks.

Hands off our Jewish penicillin (with or without matzo balls)!
It is funny how the same people who cry we culturally appropriate their food (which more often than not they themselves culturally appropriated from others) love to culturally appropriate ours.
They truly are the masters of projection.
