The Latest Horsing Around in “Concentration Camp” Gaza

Gaza is constantly (inaccurately) portrayed as the mostly densely populated place on Earth. And this perhaps might be closer to the truth if you are talking about… horses.

Ok, perhaps not exactly, but you get my drift. There seem to be more horses than one would expect from a so-called “open air prison” and “concentration camp.”

And now I learn not just any horses, but high-class breeds, which were part of a festival in Gaza on Friday, attended by a large crowd, who clearly could afford cell phones.

The name of the festival was Al-Yaser Arabian Horse Beauty, which judging by the poster in the background (as well as Friday being the anniversary of his death), might have been named after someone the exact opposite of beautiful.

And here’s the, ehh, kicker. The headline for the report highlighting this event was The Most Beautiful Arabian Horses are Palestinian.

Because, of course.
