One of the things characterizing the Israel-haters and antisemites of the world is their lack of critical thinking skills. So consumed with hatred for the Jews and the Jewish state, they share things bashing Israel without doing any due diligence as to their accuracy or even relevance.
Here’s a good example of this: late December last year, some anti-Israel social media accounts like the below announced that “Former IDF soldier Gal Gadot is planning on hosting a show on displaced indigenous people in America.”
Other haters have since gone nuts sharing news of this supposed planned travesty.
Had any of them bothered to check (like I did before publishing this post), they would have discovered that Gal Gadot is not planning on hosting the show. She already hosted it almost two years ago! It was one episode of a six-part documentary short series that follows the powerful stories of six women who are making an extraordinary impact on their communities around the world.
This particular episode is about Chief Shirell, the first female chief of her southern Louisiana tribe.
Gal was clearly chosen to host a show about women making an impact because she is a powerful, articulate woman. As for this particular episode, it seems very fitting Gal – a Jew indigenous to the land of Israel – would be the host.
Meanwhile, it would be funny to see the haters put a lot of effort in to launching a petition to stop Gal from hosting the show.
