Anti-Discrimination Subcommittee Appointee Abed Ayoub’s Antisemitism Problem

Jew-hater Suhair Nafal has expressed happiness over Abed Ayoub, National Executive Director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, being appointed to serve on the Anti-Discrimination Subcommittee of the Aviation Consumer Protection Advisory Committee.

My general policy is if a Jew-hater like Suhair Nafal is happy about it, it probably is not a good thing.

Sure enough, a look into Ayoub, and I don’t think he is the best person to advise on issues of discrimination, to say the least.

Naturally, he detests the Jewish state, but his anti-Zionism treads into antisemitism territory.

Like when he retweeted a tweet maliciously and falsely accusing Jews of singing for the genocide of palestinian Arabs as Al Aqsa was in flames, while comparing us to Neo Nazis:

As I posted at the time, the song words contain nothing of the kind, and the singing was on the occasion of Yom Yerushalayim, and had nothing to do with the fires, which palestinian Arabs started by the way.

Yep, Ayoub sure loves an inappropriate Nazi comparison:

He also seems to love peddling in antisemitic tropes, like when he mentions Israel in the same breath as “other elites“:

when he calls us puppet masters, while including a photo of a religious Jew:

and otherwise suggests we buy people’s support:

It is no surprise he defended Ilhan Omar against accusations of antisemitism, even though she subsequently admitted they were antisemitic tropes (of which she laughably claims she was not aware):

And if Ayoub was to predictably claim he is only “anti-Zionist-not-antisemitic”, using his own logic, he would be admitting to his antisemitism, given the vast majority of all Jews are Zionists:

The Anti-Discrimination Subcommittee is tasked with reviewing “airlines’ policies, procedures, and practices to prevent discrimination against air travelers based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, ancestry, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation.” Clearly Ayoub will advise from the point of view of an American Muslim, and his antisemitism won’t necessarily impact the final recommendations (there is also a Rabbi on the subcommittee to represent the Jewish point of view).

Nevertheless, I posit having someone who doesn’t discriminate against others would be a great start when selecting the subcommittee’s composition.
