When Babies AND The Truth Were Murdered

It has emerged that one the atrocities perpetrated by Hamas was the beheading of babies.

When it was first reported by i24’s Nicole Zedek, she quoted IDF soldiers who had been walking through the houses.

Somehow this was not good enough for the world’s media, some pundits, and even celebrities, who would not believe this occurred unless seeing the proof.

For instance, News.com.au ran with a piece titled New twist in ‘beheaded babies’ claims, which raised doubts whether the atrocity had actually occurred. They have since changed the headline to Biden says he’s seen ‘confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children, but the social media preview of the report is evidence of its former incarnation:

In another example of this attitude among the media, ABC’ Australia’s Middle Eastern correspondent Tom Joyner labeled the reports “bullshit” in a WhatsApp group with hundreds of international journalists and broadcasters.

Joyner, who is reporting on the conflict between Israel and Palestine, told a WhatsApp chat group on Tuesday – in now-deleted comments – he did not believe stories being reported around the world about babies being beheaded were true.

“This story about the babies is bullshit,” he posted to the large group of media representatives sharing information about the attacks in Israel by Hamas terrorists.

WhatsApp messages posted by Joyner, seen by The Australian, were met with condemnation from many members of the media who are part of the chat group set up shortly after the conflict in Israel began at the weekend.

One group member responded to Joyner’s “bullshit” comment with “Care to retract this now?”

Joyner immediately replied, telling the group he was sorry for his remarks.

In the WhatsApp messages shared among international media representatives, Joyner was quickly met with condemnation by journalists reporting on the war in Israel.

“Why are you picking this hill to be humiliated on?”, one person wrote.

Another also replied to Joyner’s comments and said: “The PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) confirmed it, there are numerous eyewitness testimonies from the field and (US President Joe) Biden just confirmed seeing evidence to support it.

“What more would you like?

“Do you need to be taken to a morgue and open body bags yourself? Shame on you.”

Another journalist also replied: “There have been multiple people here, myself included, saying they have spoken to eyewitnesses about decapitations.”

And 80s one-hit-wonders Right Said Fred also decided to question the veracity of the report to their almost quarter of a million followers:

And there were more examples. Way more. The following is just a sample:

It’s as if these journos and pundits cannot believe Hamas could be this evil (Ruffalo-style), despite the other scenes of depravity we have seen.

Or perhaps a Jew is not to be believed in their eyes.

For the record, it did happen – not that is should matter. As Piers Morgan tweeted:

Hamas had already proven before this that there is no level too low to which they will stoop. And they are no doubt emboldened by the fact that so many people refuse to believe it – the same people who will readily believe a palestinian Arab ‘witness’ to a supposed IDF ‘crime'”‘ without demanding to see any proof.
