An antisemite on Twitter/X has posted the following video, in an effort to show the apparent cruelty of the Jews towards all living things:

The video has been viewed over 100,000 times and shared over 3,000 times as of the time of this post.
What at first is not clear is what they mean by “American Zionist soldiers.” Do they mean US-born soldiers in the IDF, or Jewish soldiers in the American army? I assume they meant the former, given current events and the efforts underway to demonize the IDF.
But they are clearly not IDF soldiers. The video is of a 2008 incident in which a U.S. Marine threw a puppy over a cliff while on patrol in Iraq.
As for the idea they were Jewish soldiers in the US army, even if they were, extrapolating from this that all Zionists are Nazis is vile and antisemitic as can be. But anyway, it is unlikely they were Jewish based on their names.
Lance Cpl. David Motari, based in Hawaii with the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, is being “processed for separation” and received non-judicial punishment, officials said in the statement Wednesday night. The Marine Corps would not specify what that punishment was because of privacy regulations.
The statement said Motari received the punishment for his role in the “episode which generated international attention.”
The incident appeared on the Internet web site YouTube in March, sparking outrage from animal rights groups around the world.
In the video, Motari is seen throwing the dog off a cliff as it yelps.
A second Marine, San Diego-based Sgt. Crismarvin Banez Encarnacion, received non-judicial punishment as well.
Meanwhile, IDF soldiers are highly unlikely to ever do such a thing, and the IDF even has a canine unit.

No doubt, this matters little to antisemites like the one deliberately spreading this libel with one purpose in mind: to demonize Jews and the Jewish state.
