One of the most nefarious anti-Israel groups to appear in Australia post-October 7 has been the Jewish Council of Australia (JCA). Led by Sarah Schwartz, a Jew-ish human rights lawyer, they pretend to represent Australian Jews, while only representing an extremist fringe of Israel-hating ones. As such they act as “beards” for many Australian antisemites and terror-supporters, such as APAN and Nasser Mashni (who I suspect are helping fund them). And Schwartz has herself engaged in some antisemitism herself.
So you might think that Israel-hating ex-journalist Jennine Khalik would be fan of Sarah and her JCA.
You’d be wrong.
You see, Sarah and her JCA condemned the shooting of the two Israeli embassy staff, which was definitely a bridge too far for Khalik:
What Khalik claims about the JCA regarding their antisemitism report and denouncing Israel about alleged “massacres” is false. The JCA are clearly against criticism of Israel being antisemitism, and are constantly denouncing the Jewish state.
Yet Khalik still sees them as the enemy.
I dunno, maybe it’s a Jewish thing.
