Roseanne Barr: I Am a Better Shot Than Sarah Palin

Roseanne Barr continues to cry for mental help on her blog, with her recent attention venom being turned to Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
In her latest post dedicated to Palin, Barr lets it be known she would like to kill her.

for the republicans’ very first ever woman candidate! She has warped ethics, little concern for her family, and likes to draw down on endangered species from a helicopter, steal publicly owned property, and say anything she is paid enough to say.
She is an insult to american women. I would like to challenge sarah palin to a gun dual (sic) in a target practice setting!! I can shoot 100 times more accurately than she can, I just know it!
Perhaps, but Palin would have a much larger target to aim at.
Update: Reader Joseph thinks Barr is challenging Palin to a competition involving paper targets (rather than each other). I am still not sure.
Update: I’ve read it a few more times, and even consulted with the missus. I may have missed the mark on this one.

I think the deranged woman is suggesting a competition using paper targets. Thus, ‘a target practice setting.’
That said, the real challenge is determine who would need the larger rounds. Barr may be hard to hit, but there’s a lot for a round to travel through to actually do any damage. On the other hand, Palin might be (relatively) small, but she’s a woman of steel – so you have to worry about the deflection hazard
You could be right, although a duel is really combat between two people. And given Barr’s rants, I think my interpretation is still quite likely.
Agreed with Dave here. A duel is combat, and given Barr’s past statements, Dave’s interpretation is at least plausible if not likely.
Well, I don’t want to give Roseanne credit (as I now hate her), but her Sarah Palin joke is right-on.
Josha – yeah, fair is fair. It is a good joke. Whether accurate or not, I have no idea. But Palin did ask for it.

and in no way does she represent the REAL women of
America, who are decent, fair, and honourable .
Her shameful verbal attacks against her opponents are
a very bad example to the 5 kids she chooses to
manipulate for publicity…and her dity tricks are an
embarassment for the rest of the world to see.

When I said that she “asked for it”. I was thinking in terms of the joke itself.
I mean look, if you call yourself a pit bull with lipstick, you’re begging some comedian to take a crack at you. As for whether she’s a good/bad person, for all I know she’s a great lady. I got no opinions on that one way or the other.
