While in the US kids are kept home because of snow, here they are also kept home – because of raining missles.
Just heard the announcement this morning. Kids near Gaza (*) from unprotected schools are to stay home.
They don’t get to build snowmen either.
(*) Do not recall the specific area.
OK, so Abbas will never recognize the Jewish state. He says so. So Oslo is now over, right?
Hey, Obama! Hey, Jim! IT’S OVER. TIME TO MOVE ON.
Tsippy, too – but Kadima is done for.
Last time I checked it is the right-wing coalition headed by Bibi Netanyahu running things in Israel. So if Likud can’t stop Palestinians from launching missles into Sderot it is somehow Tzipi Livni’s fault? Or Obama’s? Or mine?!!? You really do need a check-up from the neck up if you believe any of this. Consult Moshe Dayan’s widow on where Israel is going wrong. She may be in her 90′s, but she makes a lot more sense than this current right-wing crowd of ineffective and wrong-headed pols.
OK, as usual Jim, you completely misunderstood my point. I guess Ha’aretz is withholding the polls.
Ever since the “tent” business and the Labor primaries, the opposition has been split. In the list three polls, Labor is ahead of Kadima. Now we see who wins the Kadima primaries, and what happens then.
What is unclear in the polls is the efrfect on the smaller parties. I guess it’s based on how the question is asked.

P.S. It’s Moshe Dayan’s post-war policy that got us into this mess.
I don’t see how you can misunderstand my first line. My point is that if they won’t accept a Jewish state, then there will never be an agreeemnt. So we can stop arguing about it.
And what does Sderot have to do with it? You’re mixing up posts.
I must be crashing from my Halloween sugar high of leftover trick-or-treat candy. I could have sworn you were talking about missles being launched into Israel. But I can’t be the only person who frequently misundertands the points you make. And while you’re thinking about that, you might want to send a nice basket of flowers to Mrs. Dayan for her family’s service to your country.
How about the Netanyahus’ service to the country?
By the way, since we have a law requiring the agreement be approved by refferendum, wouldn’t it make sense to require the other side to approve it also by plebiscite?
Wonder how many people they would kill to pass it?
