Roger Waters And The Case Of The Dead Palestinian Terrorist

Romania Syria Roger Waters The Wall

Famed not-antisemite-anti-Zionist/guy who plays bass Roger Waters is at it again with yet another “Note From Roger” on his Facebook page reacting to the incident in which an IDF soldier is filmed shooting a neutralized Palestinian terrorist.

note

Sorry to burden you with these images.

But they tell a story that is not told in the mainstream media.

The kid (1) lying bleeding on the ground is Palestinian.

Some mothers fallen loved one (2).

His crime? We don’t know for sure (3).

Maybe resisting arrest (4)? Or maybe resisting 50 years of occupation (5)?

Maybe he attacked a heavily armed and armored occupier (6) with pair of scissors, or a kitchen knife (7)?

We don’t know (8).

What we do know is that in this footage he is no longer a threat (9), he is lying helpless, wounded, immobile on the ground and is executed without due process.

His executioner?

A soldier in “The Most Moral Army in the World (10).”

At 1.48 seconds into the video an IDF soldier cocks his rifle.

At 1.52 the execution of young man by rifle bullet to the head takes place.

Let’s see what punishment “The Most Moral Army in the World” deems appropriate (11) for the coward (12) who pulled the trigger.

Love

Roger

I highlighted and numbered the lies above.

  1. “Kid” According to Palestinian news agency Ma’an the “kid” Abed al-Fattah Yusri al-Sharif was 21 years old. He was clearly in adult territory. But let’s get one thing straight. When an attacker is endangering your life with a weapon, you don’t stop to check his age.
  2. “mothers (sic) fallen loved one” Roger refuses to acknowledge this but these “mothers” proudly raised their children to be Jew killers from the moment they left their wombs. Dying while perpetrating these vile acts is considered a moment of pride for these mothers.  When your society treats these murderers like heroes of course mama will be proud. Don’t believe me? Check out this compilation of parents reacting with pride over their “martyred” sons and daughters.
  3. “His crime? We don’t know for sure” Yes we know for sure. It was attempted first degree murder. The terrorist and his friend woke up that morning with the intention to go out and kill. That’s premeditated murder.
  4. “Resisting arrest?” No. Attempted murder.
  5. “Resisting 50 years of occupation?” No. Attempted murder.
  6. “attacked a heavily armed and armored occupier” Has he considered why someone would try to stab a group of heavily armed and armored soldiers, unless he wanted to see virgins in heaven that day?
  7. “with pair of scissors, or a kitchen knife” you don’t have to guess Roger. Here’s the weapon. And these knives have already claimed the lives of too many of our civlians and soldiers.knife hebron
  8. “We don’t know” Yeah we do.
  9. “no longer a threat” As stated in the soldier’s testimony, the terrorist wore a coat. It was 30 degrees out that day. The footage shows the terrorist moving and the soldier thought he could be reaching to detonate a bomb hidden in his coat. IDF is trained to look for these warning signs because they have happened many times during the second Intifada. That turned out to be unfounded in this situation and we must await the results of the investigation.
  10. The Most Moral Army in the World (in scare quotes)” Waters’ sarcastic use of this phrase is very dishonest. Who are you going to use to measure an army’s morality? The soldier who acted in the field? Or the Israeli army’s official response to the matter, which was:
    • “An initial investigation into the incident found this to be a very grave incident that contravenes the IDF’s values and what is expected of its soldiers and commanders. In light of the findings of the initial investigation done by the commanders at the scene, the investigation was passed on to the IDF’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID).”

The IDF doesn’t claim it is the most moral army in the world. British Col. Richard Kemp made that assertion. IDF does however make the greatest effort to achieve this with a very strict and constantly updating moral code and a constant effort to train the soldiers in ethics and responsibility.  Take the time to update yourself on Ruach Tzahal (Spirit of the IDF)

  11. “Let’s see what punishment” Again. The IDF Criminal Investigation Division takes its work very seriously. No need to be sarcastic. IDF soldiers have and continue to be investigated in response to deviation from IDF conduct. It may frustrate the Israel hater that out of many investigations, few are actually convicted. But Israeli soldiers rarely wake up with the intention to kill anyone. Roger Waters is already expecting a punishment because he has already deemed the soldier to be guilty of all charges.
  12. “Coward” according to testimony from his fellow soldiers he is an exemplary soldier. But Roger already served his judgement.

Now that we went through this lying liar’s lies. Let me pose this question to Roger Waters.

Why did we not see a single “Note from Roger” for any of the 34 people killed and 404 injured in the 206 stabbing attacks, the 83 shooting attacks and 42 vehicular attacks on Israelis and Palestinians, Jews and Arabs, at the hand of Palestinian terrorists since September 2015. Wake up Roger Waters. You support a terrorist organization and you’re telling your fans to as well.

  1. Hypocrite. If you care so much for these Palestinian “boys'” lives, you should “write a note” to them, asking them not to charge at the “immoral soldiers”, as it will more likely than not, end with their death. Think of all the future suicude terrorists you could save if you tried.

      1. mrharmonicaman

More Kurds are being killed daily and dragged behind police cars…but hey we don’t care or care to know because Turkey is, you know, a NATO ally….

  2. Coward? This from a punk that has never done anything for anybody EVER. That pansy would piss in his pants if he ever had to face a real threat
