You can’t make this stuff up: Days after PA President Mahmoud Abbas called him the “son of a dog” and “settler”, the PA has now called for US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman to be added to a “global terror list.”
The Palestinian Authority on Thursday called for US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman to be added to a “global terror list” as it stepped up its war of words with the American envoy, days after PA President Mahmoud Abbas denounced him as a “son of a dog” and “settler.”
In a report titled “Friedman, the Ambassador of Settlements and Lawyer of Extremism,” the PA Ministry of Information in Ramallah called for placing the US envoy on the terrorism list “for violating international law, supporting terrorism, and promoting ethnic cleansing and black racism.”
If I were to be charitable to the palestinians, I could surmise they just want more company on the global terror lists. It can get a little lonely at times.
Abbas’ advisor’s attempt to explain away the dog insult – claiming “dogs are pets in the Arab world, and they are generally viewed positively” – would actually work better here. Except to them, terrorists are way more popular than dogs!
Note also the transparent, intersectionality attempt – straight out of the Linda Sarsour Book of Trying to Gain Allies from the Black Community.
