Scenes From The 21st International Conference on Islamic Unity

Post updated. Further investigation of the source blog of these photos reveals they were taken at the  21st International Conference on Islamic Unity, and not the “Islamic Conference to Save Gaza” as was posted at the blog cited in my post below.

I am all for pointing out the Arab and Muslim apathy towards the “palestinian cause” (they don’t truly care for the palestinians, but rather use them as a tool to attack Israel) , but I won’t do it based on dishonesty. Having said that, it’s good to see the Arab approach towards unity demonstrates the same kind of apathy.

These next photos are apparently from the “Islamic Conference to Save Gaza” held in Saudi Arabia 21st International Conference on Islamic Unity.

Never has the true Arab and Muslim position towards the palestinians Islamic unity been so well captured.

Taken from this blogger, who notes: “I have a good source who vouches for the photos, that they are indeed from the conference in question.”

Update: He may want to find a new source.

Update: The blogger is KGS from Tundra Tabloids, and he was also not aware of the photos true origins. Great find, though!

  1. I'm the person who posted this at Vlad Tepes' blog, I crossed posted it from the Tundra Tabloids' blog. This wasn't a dishonest attempt, but an honest mistake, as all of us are prone to make every now and then. Right Dave?

    1. Absolutely! I wasn't attacking you, but rather saying that since I now know the source of the photos, I cannot be dishonest and keep the post as is. I am sure you were also not aware that these photos were taken at a different conference.

In any event, thanks for posting them, because although the point made may be different than from that originally intended, it is still an important point. Besides, we can all do with a big laugh!

      1. Thanks Dave,

I really appreciate you clearing that up…you are right of course about my needing to develope a better source than the one I trusted.

        Cheers/KGS

  2. Given that they’ve kept their “Palestinian” “brothers” festering in refugee camps for sixty years, this certainly fits the pattern…
