New Pink Floyd Album Features BDSHole Who Is NOT Roger Waters

Not news: There is a BDSHole on Pink Floyd’s latest album.

News: It is NOT Roger Waters.

On November 10th, Pink Floyd will unveil The Endless River, their first album in two decades. Although the new LP is a mostly instrumental affair, this long-awaited Floyd album will feature one familiar “voice”: physicist Stephen Hawking’s artificial voice appears on The Endless River track “Talkin’ Hawkin’.” Pink Floyd previously recruited the scientist, who communicates using a speech-generating device, to serve as narrator on their The Division Bell single “Keep Talkin’,” but “Talkin’ Hawkin'” will not be a sequel to the 1994 track.

As for Waters..

Former member Roger Waters recently issued an angry statement about his lack of involvement in the new Pink Floyd album. Waters, who left the band in 1985, issued the message to fans via Facebook after receiving inquiries about his role in ‘The Endless River’. Explaining that he has nothing to do with the album and that he is no longer a member of the band, Waters signed off the message by telling people to “get a grip”.

  1. There IS NO PINK FLOYD without Roger Waters. Whatever Gilmores problem is, get a f*cking grip, We’re all getting older and most of us Floyd fans would LOVE to see the old band back together. put it behind you and lets do a real reunion.

  2. Also, stupid for the reporter to say Waters put out an “angry statement”

    FULL STATEMENT below:

    Dear Friends

Some people have been asking Laurie,
my wife, about a new album I have coming out in November. Errhh? I
don’t have an album coming out, they are probably confused. David
Gilmour and Nick Mason have an album coming out. It’s called Endless
River. David and Nick constitute the group Pink Floyd. I on the other
hand, am not part of Pink Floyd. I left Pink Floyd in 1985, that’s 29
years ago. I had nothing to do with either of the Pink Floyd studio
albums, Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell, nor the Pink
Floyd tours of 1987 and 1994, and I have nothing to do with Endless
River. Phew! This is not rocket science people, get a grip.

    On
another subject, my recent trip to Bruxelles was very moving. To listen
to the testimony of some of those present in Gaza during the
euphemistically named Operation Protective Edge, July and August 2014
was deeply disturbing. I am still non plussed by the acquiescence of the
governments of the USA, UK and EU to the policies of the current
Israeli administration. Should we encourage our leaders to sue for a
peaceful solution or not? Here is a link to the findings of The Russell
Tribunal on Palestine emergency session 2014:

    Please
study these findings and any rebuttals and then make up your own minds.
Whatever you decide, let us all agree that, “To stand by silent and
indifferent is the greatest sin of all.”Love
    Roger

  3. Hawking cannot be put in the same category, at least according to what I read. It just sounds like he caved to pressure, not outspoken against Israel. If someone has proof to the contrary I’d like to see.

    1. Here was his statement of why he cancelled an appearance in Israel:

“I have received a number of emails from Palestinian academics. They are unanimous that I should respect the boycott. In view of this, I must withdraw from the conference. Had I attended I would have stated my opinion that the policy of the present Israeli government is likely to lead to disaster.”

Saying he’s not in the same category as Roger Waters is setting the bar pretty low.

      1. Yeah, the more I’m reading the more I have to admit the comparison is accurate. So sad that such a brilliant mind can get something so wrong, although I spoke to a physicist who said that he’s considered in their community to be overrated.

        1. I have spoken to several physicists who said the same.

Anyway, I judge by what I see. Anyone making the above statement is clearly not a ‘brilliant mind’ but a moron.
